The mers virus

1.Emergency! Evacuate right now! This is not a drill! Go away as far as you can from South Korea! What is going on?	2.Something is attacking people from South Korea! Do you guys know what that   something is? Have you been watching the news ?	3.Maybe koreans will know. Yes, you over there. Exactly! The answer is the scary mers virus! Oooooo~!	4.Guys guess what the scientific name is. What? You don’t know? Okay, it’s scientific name is ‘Middle east respiratory syndrome coronavirus’. Now that was really long name wasn’t it?
5.There are 183 people who have caught the mers virus and 24 people have already died from the  mers virus.  Many of them are quarantined.  Now that is a bad news!.	6.No!!! There is even worst news for me! Because my families is in a big danger especially  my grandma and my cousin! My grandma lives on the 27th floor in apartment in Seoul and a person who lives at 26th floor got mers virus and died.	7.Ladies and gentlemen, so what is the Mers Virus? What do you look for ?	8.If your temperature goes up to 37.5 degrees, your immunity will be 5 times stronger and if your temperature goes down to 35.5 degrees, you will lose the 30% of your power of immunity.
9.Guys, I am warning you that at 2 days to 14 days, it will be as same as normal cold so even though you think it is just a cold, you have to go doctor because after few days you will be hard to breath and sometimes you will have a heart attack. And you will be found as dead after few more days. Wow! This is scary!	10.How can we fight the Mers Virus? There are ways to not to get the mers virus!  So I will tell you guys right now. You have to have a shower everyday. Also don’t go close to somebody who is coughing. As you know always wash your hand before eating something.	11.Try to do that from now on. This is going to save your life.	12.Thank you guys so much for listening to my speech hope you enjoyed and be safe from mers virus!

                         The forest

Before: Come to our silent forest. You will love the rich green colour.

After: Come to the forest you will hear silence until the billions of bugs start chirping. Also you will hear the orchestra of birds are singing beautifully too. You will see trees dancing in the wind. When you see our green colour, you will feel like you earnt a billion dollars. You will smell the spicy of the gumtree.

The Forest

Before: Come to my silent forest, you’ll love the peace and cool colours.

After: First, you can feel a silence until you hear hundred of bugs and birds, chirping and singing. It is a wonderful music of forest. Underneath you there are tonnes of leaves fallen. Also there is soft soil.You can smell spicy gum tree too. Getting sunshine, making a precious memories.

*Mysterious JUNGLE!*

As is arrive at the mysterious jungle, trees, animals, and fish are welcoming us. But bad guests like Jaguars are trying to kill and eat us. We can feel the jungle it is as boiling hot as a desert and also as creepy as a haunted house.

We can see that the jungle friends are showing their clothes.  Trees have got clothes made of leaves.

Jaguars have soft warm fur clothes,  fish have strong scaly armour. The river is sadly crying down without clothes.

Can you hear it? Can you hear the  jungle orchestra having a concert? The Jaguar is roaring, jungle birds are singing, bugs are chirping and the tree is shaking its leaf tambourine. The river is singing with a beautiful clear voice of water.

If you haven't tasted jungle food, it's fantastic! Jungle mango tastes so sweet and also has sweet juice. Some fruits are as sour as lemon too. Fish from the sea, is salty but also delicious.

At the jungle, it’s stinky as you think. It is full of animal smells. That’s really stinky and also weird. There is stinky smell of fish too. But not everything is stinky. We can smell the sweetness of fruit and the wonderful smell of honey and flowers.

At the wild jungle, there is so much thing to touch. We can touch wet soft tree, soft dirt, cool  water  from the river or ocean. We can feel the soft fur of animals, and slimy squashy fish skin. It is kind of weird but it feels very good.

These are all  the jungle friends that we all need.

The Desert

As we walked across the roasting sand we could see a lime green cactus with strawberry red flowers and some coconut trees a couple of miles away. We felt the soft golden brown sand sifting through our fingers and toes sand and felt the sand brushing on our boiling legs. It smelt like dead animals and the salt of the  steaming sand with bits of shells.BY Mandi, Kamryn, Alex and Mitchell
